The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled its sixth and final candidate list for the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly elections. This list finalizes tickets for three candidates. Notably, BJP has fielded Deepak Kadwasara from Barmer, Girraj Singh Malinga from Bari, and Arun Mara Ram Chaudhary from Pachpadra. This list draws attention as it includes Girraj Singh Malinga, a former Congress legislator now in BJP, who has secured a ticket from Bari.
With the release of the BJP's sixth list, candidates for all 200 assembly seats in Rajasthan have now been announced. Rajasthan Assembly consists of 200 seats in total. Prior to this update, BJP had released its fifth list on Sunday featuring 15 candidates, where a significant change occurred in Kolayat. Initially slated for Devi Singh Bhati’s daughter-in-law, Poonam Kanwar's ticket was later assigned to Anshuman Singh Bhati, Bhati’s grandson.
Vasundhara Ally Arun Chaturvedi Loses Ticket
In its fifth list, BJP excluded former minister Arun Chaturvedi's ticket from the Civil Lines seat, a known confidant of Vasundhara Raje. Instead, BJP gambled on a new face, journalist Gopal Sharma, to challenge the formidable Rajasthan minister, Pratap Singh Khachariyawas.
