Congress leader Rahul Gandhi stated that it would be a positive initiative for the leading political parties to present their visions on a shared platform. He welcomed an invitation for a public debate on the Lok Sabha elections extended by two former judges and a distinguished citizen.
On social media platform X, Gandhi expressed hope the nation expects Prime Minister Narendra Modi's participation. Responding to Justice (retired) Madan B. Lokur, Justice (retired) Ajit P. Shah, and N. Ram on platform X, he asserted that displaying visions by prominent parties from a single platform is a significant move towards a healthy democracy.
Gandhi remarked that the Congress welcomes this initiative and accepts the invitation for dialogue. The country hopes the Prime Minister will join in this dialogue as well.
Please note that earlier this week, the former judges and N. Ram had invited Rahul Gandhi and Prime Minister Modi to join a platform to debate major electoral issues.
