Farmers in Punjab have announced a 'Punjab Bandh' for Monday, December 30. This decision was made last week by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (non-political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha. To ensure the success of the shutdown, meetings with transporters, employees, traders, and others are ongoing at the KMM Khanauri border protest site.

Meanwhile, farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal continues his hunger strike for 34 days. Leaders in Khanauri are committed to Gandhian strategies, ensuring the government decides whether to use force for their leader's removal. In light of the December 30 Punjab shutdown, police have released a traffic advisory.

The traffic police have alerted that major roads might face disruptions due to the 'Punjab Bandh' call by farmer organizations, so it's advised to use alternative routes for a hassle-free journey.
