Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals, IPL 2025:

The thrilling Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 face-off between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (DC) was unfortunately called off due to escalating tensions between India and Pakistan. The highly anticipated match was set to take place on May 8 (Wednesday) at the picturesque Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamsala. Punjab Kings won the toss and chose to bat first, but the game was halted after 10.1 overs. For safety reasons, all the stadium's floodlights were switched off, and IPL officials advised teams to exit the HPCA Stadium.

At the point when play stopped, Punjab Kings had impressively scored 122 runs for the loss of one wicket in just 10.1 overs. Priyansh Arya delivered an electrifying performance, smashing five fours and six sixes to reach 70 runs in 34 balls. Meanwhile, Prabhsimran Singh continued his robust batting with 50 runs from 28 balls, as Shreyas Iyer remained not out with no runs.

India's Resilient Defense Against Pakistan

In retaliation to several attacks in Jammu and Punjab, India's air defense system successfully neutralized threats, taking down a Pakistani F-16 aircraft. Drone assaults were also skillfully countered in Jammu & Kashmir’s Udhampur district and Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer, resulting in the downing of a drone over Akhnoor.
