In a tragic turn of events in Pune, Maharashtra, a minor's decision to drive took a fatal toll, leading to the death of two engineers. On the spot, one woman perished, and the other engineer succumbed to injuries at the hospital. A case was filed against the young driver at the Yerwada Police Station. The accused was swiftly arrested but managed to secure bail from the court within hours which subsequently ordered him to write an essay on the incident.

It is pertaining that the underage driver is related to a renowned builder in Pune. The identity of the deceased, Anish Dudhiya and Ashwini Costa, was subsequently revealed, both natives of Rajasthan. The horrendous accident occurred late on a Sunday night around 2:30 AM. Post the accident, the minor attempted to flee but was apprehended by the crowd, who then handed him over to the police.

The local court granted bail to the high-profile car accident suspect in less than 14 hours. As the accused was a minor, he was presented before the Pune Juvenile Justice Board.

1. The accused must assist traffic police alongside constables for 15 days. 2. He must seek psychiatric help. 3. Should the accused witness any future accidents, it is mandatory for him to aid the victims. 4. As a part of his punishment, the court has ordered the accused to write an essay on 'The impact of road accidents and their solutions' comprising a minimum of 300 words.

A witness recounted the moment, "I was waiting in my rickshaw when the young man and woman on a bike were crossing the street. Suddenly, the Porsche, at full throttle, plowed into them. The woman was tossed at least 10 feet in the air, while the man couldn’t move, likely due to broken ribs. There were three young men in the Porsche—one fled. The police arrived later and detained everyone; all three had been drinking, and the car was probably speeding at around 200-240 kilometers per hour."

The minor was charged under IPC Section 304 for negligent driving. The police suspect he was intoxicated while driving, for which they conducted a blood test. Despite the accident report still pending, the court proceeded to grant bail to the accused. Furthermore, an FIR has been registered against the suspected father, Vishal Agrawal, under Motor Vehicles Act 1988 sections 3, 5, and 199-A.
