Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has taken a strong stance on the sexual assault and suicide case involving a software engineer from Kerala. She has called for a thorough and impartial investigation. The case links to allegations of sexual assault by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) members.
The victim, identified as Anand Ajay, was a young professional in the IT sector. Before his suicide, he posted a final message on social media asserting that he was repeatedly subjected to sexual assault by several RSS members, severely affecting his mental health. In his accusations, he noted that he wasn't the sole victim, and these acts were rampant in RSS camps.
Priyanka Gandhi emphasized this grave matter in a social media post, stating, “In his suicide note, Anand Ajay mentioned enduring repeated sexual assault by several RSS members. He explicitly noted he wasn't alone, and these acts were widespread in RSS camps. If true, this is extremely alarming.”

She highlighted that millions of children and adolescents participate in RSS camps, underscoring the gravity of these allegations if proven true. Priyanka urged RSS leadership to take immediate action, asserting, “RSS must respond promptly and unveil the truth.”
She further wrote, “Sexual assault against boys is as pervasive and terrifying as it is against girls. Breaking the silence on these inhumane crimes is crucial.”
Demand for Investigation and Accountability
Joining Priyanka Gandhi, DYFI (Democratic Youth Federation of India) State Secretary V. K. Sanosh insisted, “We demand that those responsible for this crime face severe punishment under the law. Leaders of the branches mentioned by Anand in his message should be immediately arrested.”
Kerala Police Initiates Investigation
Meanwhile, Kerala Police have commenced an investigation into Anand Ajay's death. Initial inquiries indicate that they are trying to identify suspects based on social media posts and phone records.
