As the roadshow reached RN Sah Chowk, Pappu Yadav's activists, staging a protest, lined up on the street. As soon as Tejashwi Yadav arrived with the roadshow, the activists launched a vigorous protest.

The enraged supporters of Pappu Yadav managed to stop multiple vehicles participating in Bima Bharti's rally, and vandalism of some vehicles was also reported.

In Purnia, Tejashwi Yadav's speech made it clear that he is more interested in Pappu Yadav's defeat than his candidate's victory. Addressing the public, he emphasized that the election is a crucial battle. No one should be deceived, he said. 'Here, there are only two factions: INDIA or NDA - choose either Bima Bharti or vote for the NDA to win.'

With Pappu Yadav contesting as an independent, the Purnia seat contest has become triangular. While RJD has fielded Bima Bharti, who has switched from JD(U) to RJD, the NDA is represented by JD(U)'s Santosh Kumar Kushwaha.
