From March 4-6, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a comprehensive tour of Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, West Bengal, and Bihar. During this ambitious journey, he's slated to inaugurate and lay the foundation for projects worth over 110,600 crores. Modi's social media post pledged participative engagement in various programs across these states, marking a significant milestone that will usher in a new era of change for many citizens.
The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has issued a statement that on March 4, around 10:30 AM, PM Modi will initiate multiple development projects in Adilabad, Telangana, amounting to over 56,000 crores. Later that afternoon, he will visit Kalpakkam in Tamil Nadu to grace BHAVINI with his presence.
On March 5, approximately at 11 AM, the Prime Minister will continue his agenda in Sangareddy, Telangana, by inaugurating several development projects worth 6,800 crores. By 3:30 PM, he's expected in Chandikhole, Odisha, to kick off schemes exceeding 19,600 crores.
The following day, around 10:15 AM, PM Modi will be in Kolkata to unveil over 15,400 crores' worth of connectivity projects. The afternoon will see him in Betia, Bihar, where he will inaugurate multiple projects totaling about 12,800 crores.
In Adilabad, Telangana, PM Modi will commission various electricity, rail, and road projects. A particular focus will be on the power sector initiatives which are expected to significantly bolster the grid. Modi is set to dedicate the Telangana Super Thermal Power Project's 800MW Unit-2 in Peddapalli to the nation, representing one of NTPC's most efficient power stations countrywide.
This project, based on ultra-supercritical technology, will supply approximately 85% of Telangana's electricity needs and features an impressive operational efficiency. The Prime Minister will also dedicate North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project's 660MW Unit-2 in Chatra, Jharkhand — a project pioneering in its environmental approach by reducing water consumption to a third through its air-cooled condenser, compared to traditional water-cooled systems.
In Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu, PM Modi will initiate the core loading of India's indigenous 500MW Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor developed by BHAVINI. Meanwhile in Chandikhole, Odisha, he is set to unveil various ventures, spanning across crucial sectors like oil and gas, railways, roads, and nuclear energy, tallying over 19,600 crores.
