Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a compelling address at a conference in Uttar Pradesh, lauded the Yogi Adityanath government for prioritizing women's safety. During his speech, he recalled Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav's controversial remark, 'boys will be boys.'

According to a news agency report, while addressing a women's assembly in his Varanasi constituency, Modi highlighted the disregard for women during the Congress and Samajwadi Party's tenures. He mentioned a contentious statement from a decade ago by Mulayam Singh Yadav, who opposed the death penalty for rape, suggesting boys could make mistakes. Modi assured that under BJP's rule in Uttar Pradesh, men would not dare repeat such 'mistakes.'

Critiquing the INDIA Bloc, the Prime Minister said that the opposition's ideology stands against women and their reservation. He expressed his gratitude and awe for the massive presence of 'maternal power' at the event, thanking everyone for making the time to attend.

Taking aim at the opposition, PM Modi questioned what the Congress and Samajwadi Party governments did for women, accusing them only of neglect. He reiterated that the INDIA coalition harbors an anti-woman mindset and actively resists women's reservation.

PM Modi said that no matter how busy he might be with election campaigns, he is always assured about Varanasi, trusting that the citizens have everything under control. 'Therefore,' he advised, 'please take care of your health in this heat.'
