During a discussion in Parliament on the Sindoor Operation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a significant revelation about Pakistan. He stated that when the Indian Army retaliated, Pakistan pleaded for a cessation of hostilities, saying, "Stop, we've been hit hard. We cannot endure any more."

Prime Minister Modi revealed that Pakistan's DGMO (Director General of Military Operations) requested an Indian counterpart for a ceasefire. The PM remarked, “Moments after our operation began, our military conveyed to the Pakistani forces that our objective was complete. Pakistan didn’t comprehend our actions. Had they acted wisely, they wouldn't have sided with terrorists. Yet, shamelessly, they did.”

Modi emphasized that India’s military achieved 100% of its targets during Operation Sindoor, executed precisely on India's terms and timeline. He added,

“Pakistan assumed that India would undertake significant actions and therefore, began issuing nuclear threats. But on the night of May 6-7, we executed the operation as planned, and Pakistan was rendered helpless. In just 22 minutes, we avenged the April 22 Pahalgam attack.”

Operation Sindoor Sends a Clear Message from India

The Prime Minister presented three key points regarding Operation Sindoor in the Parliament. He said that any terrorist attack on India would be met with a response on India's conditions, timeline, and preferences. No more nuclear threats will work. Governments supporting terrorists and those masterminds will not be regarded separately by India.

Countering Rahul Gandhi’s Statement

Modi also targeted the opposition, especially the Congress. He pointed out that just before Operation Sindoor, Rahul Gandhi had accused that the Indian military wasn't given full freedom. PM Modi countered, “Our government granted complete liberty to the military, and Pakistan could do nothing. The world stood by India, but, unfortunately, Congress did not back our soldiers' bravery.”

He added, “The entire world supported India, no one stopped us. But Congress attempted to politicize even the martyrs' sacrifices.”
