PM Modi Honored with 'Grand Honor' Award by Ethiopia

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was honored with the nation's highest accolade, the 'Grand Honor Nishan of Ethiopia', in Ethiopia's capital, Addis Ababa. Awarded for elevating the bilateral relations between India and Ethiopia and for his visionary leadership as a global statesman. The ceremony took place at the Addis International Convention Center.

While accepting the award, Prime Minister Modi expressed pride in receiving this honor from Ethiopia, one of the world's most ancient civilizations. He dedicated this award to everyone who has strengthened the ties between India and Ethiopia over the years. PM Modi stated that he humbly accepts it on behalf of 1.4 billion Indians.

On social media platform 'X', the Prime Minister also shared his sentiments about the honor, sharing that being awarded the 'Grand Honor Nishan of Ethiopia' is a matter of pride for him, and he dedicates it to the 1.4 billion people of India.

PM Modi Awarded 28 Prestigious Honors

To date, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has received 28 major civilian honors from various countries worldwide. Besides, he has been bestowed with several prestigious international awards for his leadership and contributions to the environment, including from Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Greece, the USA, Maldives, Bahrain, UAE, Palestine, Afghanistan, and Saudi Arabia.

: Honors from Bahrain and the UAE for leadership and international cooperation.
