In a harrowing incident from Bengaluru, a young man in jest inserted the nozzle of an electric blow-dryer into his friend's rectum, tragically leading to the 24-year-old Yogesh's intestines bursting and his subsequent death during treatment. Police have arrested 25-year-old Murli, the accused friend.
This fatal misadventure occurred on March 25th at the CNS Bike Service Center in Bengaluru's Sampigehalli area. Yogesh had gone there to have his bike washed by Murli, an employee. After washing the bike, the two started playing around with the powerful electric blow-dryer they used to dry vehicles.
Yogesh Died During Treatment
Murli initially directed the blow-dryer's air onto Yogesh's face and back but subsequently inserted it into Yogesh's rectum and turned it on. The hot air inflated Yogesh's abdomen, leading him to collapse to the ground.
Upon Yogesh's collapse, Murli rushed him to the hospital for treatment, where doctors discovered significant damage to Yogesh's intestines due to the dryer's high air pressure. An emergency surgery was performed, but unfortunately, Yogesh did not survive.
Police Arrest the Accused
Originally from Vijayapura, Yogesh worked in Bengaluru as a delivery agent, residing with his grandmother in Thanisandra. The Sampigehalli Police Station registered a case under IPC Section 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and arrested Murli. The police are awaiting the autopsy report to determine the extent of damage to Yogesh's organs.
