Arriving at the scene, DSP Saket Kumar disclosed that a man named Guddu Kumar Singh was shot around 9 am on Sunday and had been hospitalized in Paras Hospital with one gunshot wound. The preliminary investigation suggests personal grudge as the motive. The injured is a hospital owner, and the entire case is currently under investigation.

There are reports that a recent official eviction of an encroachment in the same area, which included the demolition of a problematic cattle shed, is linked to the crime. The accused side suspected that the cattle shed was removed on the orders of Guddu Kumar Singh, which triggered the subsequent attack. Authorities are currently probing all these aspects.
