The Pakistan cricket team continues to underperform in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. Such an outcome would mark a historic performance by the USA in securing a spot in the Super-8. Conversely, if Pakistan only manages a single win out of their two matches, they will be completely ousted. India, on the other hand, can smoothly sail into the Super-8 with a single match victory.
Currently, Pakistan's NRR is worse than both the USA (+0.626) and India (+1.455). They aim not only to win all their matches but also to improve their NRR sufficiently to surpass either the USA or India. Canada too has a viable chance of making it to the Super-8 round, given their current negative NRR. They must win all their matches and hope for other results to tilt in their favor. The Super-8 round will feature the top 2 teams from each group.
