The situation between India and Pakistan is deteriorating following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Once again, Pakistan has issued a nuclear threat. Mohammad Khalid Jamali, Pakistan's ambassador to Russia, threatened that if India attacks Pakistan or cuts off Indus River water, Pakistan will respond with both conventional and nuclear weapons.
In a conversation with RT, the Pakistani ambassador stated that they possess concrete evidence of India's military action plans. Khalid Jamali claimed that leaked documents depict plans to attack certain areas of Pakistan, indicating an attack is near and could happen at any time.
Pakistan Reacts to Indus Water Treaty Halt
According to RT, Jamali mentioned that Pakistan will respond to any attack with full force, utilizing both conventional and nuclear arms. With India's decision to halt the Indus Water Treaty, Jamali remarked that should India obstruct or redirect the lower water stream, it will be deemed an Act of War against Pakistan, prompting full-scale retaliation.
'Crucial to Alleviate Tensions'
Jamali emphasized the importance of reducing tensions as both Pakistan and India are nuclear-armed nations. He reiterated the demand for a neutral and credible international investigation into the Kashmir attack, hoping for the involvement of China and Russia.
India's Firm Measures Against Pakistan
Jamali's statement comes amid heightened diplomatic and military tensions between India and Pakistan after the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed 26 lives. Meanwhile, India has taken stringent measures against Pakistan. Prime Minister Modi has granted the three military forces permission for decisive actions against terrorism and issued stern warnings to those aiding terrorists, underscoring a firm commitment to take strict and decisive actions against terrorists and their enablers.
