The Aviation Ministry has also announced that airlines will operate additional flights to Srinagar. A statement on Wednesday emphasized the need for airlines to maintain regular fares to ease travelers' burdens during this difficult time.
Additional Flights to Srinagar
Following the ministry's directive, Air India and Indigo will operate four additional flights from Srinagar to Delhi and Srinagar to Mumbai on Wednesday. Airlines have also waived rebooking and cancellation fees. Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, in a meeting with airlines, issued advisories against fare hikes on the Srinagar route.

Known as the Mini Switzerland of South Kashmir, Pahalgam's picturesque Baisaran Valley was bustling with tourists when the terrorists struck on Tuesday. This attack, marking one of the deadliest since the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019, resulted in 26 deaths, including two foreign nationals, and left 17 injured.
TRF Claims Responsibility
The Resistance Front (TRF) has claimed responsibility for the Pahalgam Terror Attack that occurred in the grassy meadows of Baisaran. Accessible only by foot or horseback, recent reports indicate that two local terrorists have been identified as participants, alongside two Pakistani terrorists. Firing AK-47s relentlessly for 15 to 20 minutes, the attackers conversed in Pashto, affirming their Pakistani nationality.
