In a tragic incident in Pahalgam, terrorists shot India's Intelligence Bureau Officer Manish Ranjan. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries. Manish Ranjan served as a Section Officer at the Hyderabad IB office. Originating from Bihar, he was on a trip to Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, with his family, including his wife and children.
The attack was so sudden that Manish Ranjan didn't have a chance to defend himself. The terrorists, camouflaged in military attire, didn't trigger any suspicion among the tourists relaxing in Baisaran Valley, a popular holiday spot.
Consequently, the attackers managed to target a larger number of people. Tragically, Manish Ranjan's wife and children witnessed the incident but were unharmed.
