Following the Pahalgam terrorist attack, tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated. Amidst this, a video of Karnataka's Housing and Minority Affairs Minister Jamir Ahmed Khan has gone viral, wherein he fervently calls to be sent as a suicide bomber to Pakistan to wage war against the neighboring country. During a press conference on Friday, Khan declared that Pakistan has always been an adversary to India, and if Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah permit, he is ready to join the war effort.
Karnataka Minister Jamir Ahmed Khan stated, 'We are Indians, we are Hindustanis. Pakistan has never been allied with us. Pakistan has always been our enemy… If Modi, Amit Shah, and the central government allow me, I am willing to go to Pakistan and wage war.' He appealed to Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah to provide him with a suicide bomb, which he would strap to his body and attack Pakistan.

Jamir Ahmed Khan added, 'If there is a war, I am ready. As a minister, I am stating my readiness to fight against Pakistan. I am personally willing to join the war effort on behalf of India. If necessary, I will also become a fidayeen attacker. I am not joking. For the country's sake, if Modi and Shah make me a suicide attacker, I swear to Allah I will wear the bomb and go to Pakistan.' The Karnataka minister vehemently condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, describing it as a heinous, inhumane act against innocent civilians.

He appealed to every Indian to unite in opposition to the Pahalgam terrorist attack and urged the center to undertake stringent measures for national security. On April 22, 26 tourists were brutally shot dead by Pakistan-backed terrorists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The Resistance Front (TRF), linked with Lashkar-e-Taiba, took responsibility for this attack. Survivors claimed that the terrorists inquired about their religion, asked them to recite Kalma and shot those unable to comply.

In the aftermath of the attack, India reduced diplomatic ties with Pakistan and took several stringent actions, including suspending the Indus Water Treaty, reducing capabilities of the Islamabad mission and canceling all short-term visas issued to Pakistani citizens. Enraged by India's actions, Pakistan suspended trade with India and closed its airspace to Indian flights.
