In Bokaro district of Jharkhand, a young man was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly posting inflammatory content on social media regarding the Pahalgam terror attack. According to authorities, Mohammad Naushad, the accused, lauded Pakistan and Lashkar-e-Taiba on 'X' (formerly Twitter) in his post.
Balidih police station's inspector Navin Kumar stated that the accused was apprehended from the Millat Nagar area and is being questioned. He mentioned, 'We took swift action upon noticing the post and promptly arrested the suspect.'

26 Lives Lost in Tragic Attack
This incident comes in the wake of the horrific terror attack on Tuesday at Baisaran Valley, Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, which claimed 26 lives, mostly tourists.
Meanwhile, Sanjeev Sardar, a Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader and legislator from the Potka constituency, strongly condemned this terrorist act, labeling it an act of cowardice and an assault on the nation's unity, integrity, and peace.

Sardar urged the central government to take decisive and stern action against the perpetrators. Offering condolences to the bereaved families, he stated, 'India has never bowed down and will never bow to terrorism. Our fight against terrorism is resolute.'
The police appealed to the public to refrain from posting provocative or anti-national content on social media, warning of stringent action in such cases.

Two Arrested in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh
In Damoh city, Madhya Pradesh, a case was registered against two individuals for posting offensive content on social media. They were accused of sharing posts on the Pahalgam terror attack that could hurt religious sentiments. Damoh City Police Superintendent (CSP) Abhishek Tiwari revealed that since the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on Tuesday, the police have been closely monitoring social media. Kotwali police station officials discovered two posts that had the potential to disrupt communal harmony.
Quick action was taken, and the two persons were charged under sections for hurting religious sentiments. The investigation is ongoing, and both suspects are being interrogated.
