The clash between the ruling party and the opposition during the Monsoon session of Parliament isn't confined to the House; it has extended outside its walls. The Lok Sabha proceedings have been adjourned indefinitely, prompting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to host a tea meeting for the members. However, opposition parties have decided to boycott this tea meeting.
No leaders from the opposition attended the PM's tea gathering. The meeting included leaders from allied parties of the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA). PM Modi described the Monsoon session as successful, mentioning many significant bills were passed during this period.
He praised the ruling party, stating that the passage of the online games bill would have far-reaching impacts, particularly on the public. At the tea meeting, PM Modi emphasized that this was the issue that deserved more discussion. He added that the opposition could have participated in the discourse on significant bills but instead focused on causing disruptions.

PM Modi commented on the Congress, suggesting that many young leaders within the party are immensely talented but often don't get a platform due to the Gandhi family’s insecurities. He speculated that these young leaders might actually be causing Rahul Gandhi to feel insecure and uneasy.

Notably, during the Lok Sabha Monsoon session, the Business Advisory Committee had allocated 120 hours for discussions, but only 37 hours were utilized. A total of 83 hours expected for discussion fell to a stalemate. Altogether, 14 bills were presented in the Lok Sabha during this period.

Among them, the Trust Bill was sent to the Select Committee, while the PM-CM Removal Bill was forwarded to the Joint Parliamentary Committee. The remaining 12 bills were passed by the Lok Sabha, but discussions on most of these bills were disrupted, and they were passed without discourse.
