Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) Chief of Staff Major General Herzi Halevi named the intense operation on Lebanon 'Operation Northern Arrows'. This operation is carried out in the north. Approximately 600 people have been killed and 1,600 injured in Lebanon so far, with many Hezbollah leaders also among the casualties.
The fear of Israeli attacks is so intense that many residents of Lebanese cities are fleeing. There are long queues at borders. Israeli fighter jets have targeted Hezbollah launchers, command posts, houses where fighters are hiding, and weapon depots, particularly in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley.

Israel has conducted aerial strikes on approximately 1,600 Hezbollah targets. They even carried out rapid strikes in Beirut, killing senior Hezbollah leader Ali Karraki. The building where Karraki lived was completely demolished by Israel. Karraki was set to succeed Ibrahim Aqil in Hezbollah.
Aqil, the commander of Hezbollah’s Radwan Force, was killed in a building’s basement in Beirut after Israel brought down the entire building upon him. Local media claim that Karraki is dead, but Hezbollah denies this, stating he is unharmed.

How Many Hezbollah Commanders Have Been Killed...
It’s claimed that several senior Hezbollah commanders have been killed in the Israeli attacks. Last Friday, the Israeli Defense Forces confirmed the deaths of 16 senior Hezbollah commanders in Beirut, who were attending a meeting. Among the deceased are Ibrahim Aqil, Fuad Shukur, Wissam al-Tawil, Abu Hasan Samir, Taleb Sami Abdullah, Mohammad Naser, and Ibrahim Kobeisi, who was the head of Hezbollah’s missile unit.
Regarding Kobeisi, the Israeli Defense Forces stated that he was responsible for planning and executing terrorist attacks, causing the deaths of both Israeli soldiers and civilians. Therefore, it was imperative to neutralize him. Kobeisi was killed in an airstrike; the building he was staying in was bombed by the Israeli military. Fifteen other Hezbollah fighters were also injured in the attack.

Top Leaders Aqil, Wahbi, and Samir Also Killed
Reports suggest that along with Aqil, prominent leaders Ahmad Wahbi and Abu Hasan Samir were present at the meeting point when Israel launched the attack. Samir was a former commander of the Radwan Force and currently trained Hezbollah’s elite unit in Lebanon. Wissam al-Tawil reported directly to Aqil and was the field commander of the Radwan Forces.
Israel killed these leaders in January while they were in an SUV in their hometown Khirbet Selim. Fuad Shukur was killed on July 30 and was considered a close commander to Hezbollah Chief Nasrallah. Taleb Sami Abdullah, who was the head of Hezbollah’s Nasr unit, was killed in a southern Lebanon airstrike by Israel.
