OnePlus has announced its latest operating system, OxygenOS 16, based on Android 16. The company promises an array of artificial intelligence features designed to adapt to user behavior. As a pre-Diwali gift, it offers existing OnePlus devices a visual makeover.
The Plus Mind feature is particularly noteworthy, allowing on-screen content capture and recognition, storing it for later use in the Mind Space. OxygenOS 16 introduces Parallel Processing 2.0, delivering smoother animations for navigation gestures and system interactions.
The beta program for OxygenOS 16 has also commenced, giving selected OnePlus users the opportunity to experience upcoming Android 16 features firsthand. Beta users can explore all features before the official rollout, with the OnePlus 15 being the first device to launch with OxygenOS 16.
