Noida Takes a Major Step in Women's Safety with Inauguration of Pink Booth

In a significant move to bolster women's safety in Noida, Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh inaugurated a new Pink Booth on the auspicious occasion of Navami. The event's highlight was the opening ceremony, gracefully conducted by a young girl.

The police commissioner detailed plans to build 6 more Pink Booths across the city, particularly in areas with higher population density and greater security requirements. Operating 24/7, these booths aim to ensure the safety of women, children, and pedestrians at all times.

The initiative has garnered praise for the police's dedicated efforts. Under the Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS), 26 out of 27 police stations have achieved the number 1 rank. The IGRS cell received an incentive of Rs 25,000, while station in-charges were awarded Rs 5,000 each.

Despite minor technical issues in one station, the Police Commissioner assured prompt resolution. Singh emphasized that the government's priority is to address public grievances promptly, and Noida Police are consistently striving towards this goal.
