In Bihar, following the cabinet expansion and statements from BJP leaders, questions have arisen about whether everything is fine within the NDA. After the cabinet expansion on Thursday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reassigned some departments, taking back two from Santosh Suman, the minister son of Jitan Ram Manjhi, and reallocating them to others.
Santosh Suman initially managed three departments, but now only retains the Department of Minor Water Resources. Following this, today CM Nitish Kumar attended the Dalit Sangam organized by Jitan Ram Manjhi, the head of the Hindustani Awam Morcha (HUM), at Gandhi Maidan, Patna.
Nitish's 15-Second Speech
During this event, Nitish spoke for merely 15 seconds before quickly departing. Minister in Bihar Government, and son of Jitan Ram Manjhi, Santosh Suman, welcomed CM Nitish Kumar. In his brief speech, Nitish congratulated the organizers of the Dalit Sangam, stating, 'I salute you all. The party meeting is happening today, congratulations on that. I received the information, hence I came to congratulate everyone. With these words, I conclude my speech.' His quick departure from the event has raised questions.

Is Everything Right in the NDA?
Questions have emerged because BJP leaders in Bihar are making statements that might unsettle JD(U). Bihar BJP chief Dilip Jaiswal, speaking to
, stated that elections would be fought under Nitish Kumar's leadership, but the candidate for the Chief Ministerial face will be decided by the BJP Parliamentary Board along with all NDA allies.
Supporting Jaiswal's statement, BJP leader and Bihar government minister Prem Kumar affirmed it is certain that elections will be contested under Nitish Kumar's leadership. He further said that if our state president mentioned that the legislative party will decide the leader post-election, he's correct.
