They reflected on their history of contesting elections under his direction since 1996.

Nitish Kumar Emerges as the Kingmaker

Following the Lok Sabha election results, Nitish Kumar, along with TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu, has risen as a pivotal political force. The NDA secured 293 seats out of 543, while the INDIA bloc managed to clinch 233. The BJP, while obtaining a majority with 240 seats, failed to reach the magical number of 272 necessary to form a government independently.

Currently, the entire NDA, including the BJP, is reliant on Andhra Pradesh's Telugu Desam Party and Bihar's JD(U), which garnered 12 seats, making it the second-largest ally in the coalition after TDP with 16 seats.
