Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav read the resolution, stating that on November 10, anti-national forces executed a heinous terrorist act by setting off a car explosion near Red Fort. The cabinet expressed condolences to the families of those killed in the attack and wished a speedy recovery for the injured. The resolution also applauded the medical personnel who quickly provided aid to the victims.
Describing the blast as a cowardly and heinous act, the cabinet stated that India condemns terrorism in every form. Gratitude was also expressed towards various countries worldwide for their solidarity and support in the wake of this incident.

It should be noted that a car explosion occurred on Monday evening near Red Fort in Delhi. So far, 12 fatalities have been confirmed while more than 20 people are reported injured.
