The case of a fake Instagram account impersonating IPS Officer Manzil Saini surfaced on Tuesday, sending objectionable posts and messages to her acquaintances. On learning of this fraudulent account using her name, the officer promptly filed a case in the police station, naming the accused.
Manzil Saini, a 2005 batch IPS officer, resides in Noida, Sector 78. Currently holding the position of DIG, she is posted in Delhi on central deputation. Acquaintances informed DIG Saini about inappropriate posts and messages being shared from an Instagram account bearing her profile photo.
Upon further investigation, the officer discovered the fake account. The digital complaint was lodged in Station 113 against Rishi Saini from Jalaun.
News of the fake Instagram account quickly vaulted the police department into action. Noida's Station 113 police, under the guidance of Saini's complaint, have already enlisted cyber cell support to track down the culprit. Authorities assure rapid arrest and rigorous legal action against the wrongdoer.
IPS Manzil Saini is renowned for her sharpness in duty. Born on September 19, 1975, in Delhi, she commenced her education at St. Joseph College, later topping in economics at Delhi College of Economics with a gold medal. A member of the 2005 IPS batch, Saini has served notably in various districts across Uttar Pradesh, including Badaun, Muzaffarnagar, Etawah, and Mathura, amongst others.
