The Aadhaar card, developed by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), is now essential for every Indian citizen. Whether for airport security, hotel check-ins, or other verifications, the original or a photocopy of the Aadhaar card is typically required. However, this will no longer be necessary as Central Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw launched a new mobile Aadhaar app during an event in New Delhi on Tuesday.
According to Central IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, the introduction of the new Aadhaar app means that Aadhaar photocopies won't be needed at hotels or other locations. He further explained that the UIDAI's latest app, currently in its beta phase, features complete face authentication for the entire process.
