The Middle East stands on the brink of another war. On June 13, Israel's strikes on Iran hint at escalating tensions. Israel has launched relentless airstrikes on Iran’s military and nuclear sites, while Iran retaliated by targeting Israeli residential areas. Amid this chaos, Israeli PM Netanyahu urged Iranians to dismantle Khamenei's regime, further infuriating him.
Netanyahu directly addressed the Iranian people amid the attacks, urging them to take a stand against their current regime. He emphasized that Israel's battle is not against the citizens of Iran but against its so-called government, which he describes as completely dictatorial.
Netanyahu expressed hope that Israel’s military operation in Iran will pave the way for the people's freedom. He called for unity among the Iranian populace against the oppressive government that has burdened them for 50 years and led their country to devastation.
Netanyahu asserted that their fight is against the dictatorship that, for 46 years, has oppressed the people. He called upon the Iranian populace for a new revolution, stating that the aim of Israel's operations is to dismantle Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile programs completely. Once this goal is achieved, the path to freedom will become clearer.
In response to Netanyahu’s statement, an enraged Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei declared that Israel has initiated war and cannot escape from this conflict.
He cautioned that Israel should not believe the conflict ended with their strikes. According to him, Israel started this assault, marking the beginning of a war. He vowed that Israel would be held accountable for this crime, facing a fate that’s undoubtedly painful.
Khamenei proclaimed that Israel’s hands are stained with Iran’s blood in this crime. He promised to devastate Israel, opening the gates of hell for them.
Intense Airstrikes From Both Sides
Israel has relentlessly bombed Tehran and other cities, while Iran retaliated with missile and drone strikes. In Israel, millions are taking refuge in bunkers as missile strikes trigger constant sirens across the nation. Meanwhile, Iranian citizens are also being instructed to find safety. Reports indicate that Israeli strikes have resulted in 78 deaths and 329 injuries in Iran so far.
The heightened tensions continue, with ongoing attacks. Israel has declared that Operation Rising Lion will persist until the nuclear threat from Iran is neutralized. Iran, meanwhile, has warned of counterattacks and plans to enhance its ballistic missile capabilities. Red alerts are issued in Israel, advising citizens to remain in bunkers.
It is known that Israeli strikes have targeted Iran’s military and nuclear facilities, whereas Iran's response has focused on Israeli residential areas.
