The body of the Ghaziabad woman, located near the Indo-
Nepal
border in Maharajganj, has been handed over to her family. To provide context, during the turmoil in Nepal, a heartbreaking event transpired. A couple from Ghaziabad, on a spiritual journey to the Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu, were caught in a hotel blaze ignited by protestors. In a desperate attempt to survive, they jumped from the fourth floor and sustained injuries. Amid the chaos, the couple was separated.
On Wednesday, the couple's son received the grim news that his mother had passed away. Ramveer Singh Gola, a resident of Ghaziabad's Nandgram police station area, had traveled with his 55-year-old wife, Rajesh Gola, to visit the Pashupatinath Temple on September 7.

After their divine visit, the couple checked into the Hyatt Residency in Kathmandu. At approximately 11:30 PM, agitators set fire to the hotel. Trapped by the encroaching flames, the couple leaped from the fourth floor to save themselves.
Thanks to the rescue team's efforts, many landed on padded mattresses laid out beforehand. However, the couple from Ghaziabad was injured in the process. During the subsequent chaos, protestors launched another assault, causing more confusion and the separation of the couple. On Wednesday, Ramveer Singh was informed that his wife had died during treatment.
However, Ramveer Singh Gola was discovered two days later, in an injured state, at a relief camp. At the Indo-Nepal border in Sonouli, family members received the body, expressing concerns about insufficient medical attention, which they claim led to the demise. With assistance from the Indian embassy, the body reached Sonouli by Thursday evening and was then taken homeward to Ghaziabad.
