NEET Result Controversy:
Suspicion of manipulation in the NEET results has prompted Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Congress General Secretary, to target the central government. She questions why the voices of lakhs of students are being ignored following allegations of a scam in the results, especially after the previous paper leak incident.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has taken to her social media account 'X' to corner the central government over concerns of misconduct in the NEET results. Her tweet reads, 'First the NEET examination paper was leaked and now students allege that the results have been rigged. Serious questions are being raised as six students from the same center scored a perfect 720 out of 720, amid other irregularities. On the other hand, there have been reports of student suicides across the country after the results, which is both distressing and shocking.'
She further asks, 'Why is the government ignoring the voices of lakhs of students? Students have valid questions relating to the unfairness in the NEET exam results. Shouldn't it be the responsibility of the government to investigate and address these legitimate complaints?'

Allegations of Malpractices in NEET Exam Results, Here are the Main Reasons
In fact, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) for undergraduate medical courses was conducted on May 5, 2024, and the results were released on the same day as the Lok Sabha election results, June 4, 2024. Post-NEET results, candidates have been questioning the integrity of the NEET UG exam. They suspect major irregularities in the exam outcomes. For the first time, a high number (67) of students scored 720 out of 720, the NEET paper leak issue, six students from the same examination center scoring full marks, and the demand for the paper leak investigation surfaced post-arrests of fake candidates during the exam in Patna, yet the exam was conducted regardless.
