Over 100 lives were tragically lost in a stampede in Hathras. NCW Chief Rekha Sharma visited the site on Tuesday, demanding an FIR against Baba Narayan Sakar Hari. She emphasized that servants have been charged, and the police are actively investigating the case.
Addressing the assault on women, Rekha Sharma stated, "The servants are responsible for this chaos. FIRs have been lodged against them, and I've insisted an FIR is essential against their leader, for he is at fault." She revealed the secretive behavior of the Baba, who prevented photography and kept phones outside to evade evidence.

Rekha Sharma mentioned, "It's up to the police to uncover if there was a premeditated conspiracy involved in this tragic incident." She expressed concern over the high number of female casualties and discussed plans to educate women on avoiding such fraudulent spiritual leaders.
On the ambiguity of attendance numbers at the spiritual event, she noted, "They initially sought permission for 80,000 people. Without photos or videos, we don't have exact figures." Sharma ensured that the Baba's name would be included in the FIR upon confirmation.
