In Sant Kabir Nagar, the broad daylight murder of Nandini Rajbhar, a provincial secretary of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, has left the community in shock. Nandini Rajbhar was found in a pool of blood on the floor beneath her bed, suffering from a severe neck injury. She had been receiving threats for several days, and a land dispute is emerging as a potential motive. The police are actively engaged in the investigation.

According to reports, local land mafias had illicitly registered land belonging to Nandini Rajbhar's father-in-law, Balakrishna, without fully paying him. Consequently, on February 29, Balakrishna committed suicide. His body was found on railway tracks.

In this case, Nandini Rajbhar was ardently supporting her father-in-law against local land mafias – Shravan Yadav, Dhruv Chand Yadav, and Panne Lal Yadav. She was vocally opposing these accused for fraud, intimidation, and non-payment issues.

Was the land dispute the motive behind the crime?

One of the accused, Panne Lal Yadav, has been arrested and put behind bars. Meanwhile, on Sunday, March 10, Nandini Rajbhar was brutally murdered at her home. The police have apprehended three of the five named suspects, including Anand Yadav, Dhruv Chand Yadav, and a woman.

It has been claimed that the mentioned Yadav accused had taken advantage of Balakrishna's inebriated state to forcibly register his valuable roadside land without the full payment. Despite land registration, the remaining balance was not paid by the culprits.

The situation escalated when Balakrishna died, prompting Nandini Rajbhar to demand the arrest of the culprits and initiate legal proceedings. This became the likely cause of her murder, though police investigation continues. Officials assure that the case will be disclosed soon.
