Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde labeled the outbreak of violence in Nagpur on Monday as a conspiracy. He stated that this violence was orchestrated under a plan. The Deputy CM assured that those involved in the violence will not be spared and stringent actions will be taken against them.
In an exclusive conversation with Aaj Tak, Eknath Shinde mentioned that a demonstration regarding Aurangzeb took place on Monday afternoon. However, police personnel were attacked with stones at night, and weapons were used in assaults. Many police officers were injured in the incident. Such attacks on law enforcement officers, who are deployed to protect citizens, are unfortunate. This violence was perpetrated with prior planning.
Retaliating against the opposition's allegations, Shinde questioned how the opposition could hail Aurangzeb, who attacked Maharashtra and inflicted such atrocities. Praising or supporting Aurangzeb amounts to treason.

Amidst the controversy over Aurangzeb's tomb, a violent clash erupted between two groups in the Mahal area of Nagpur, Maharashtra, on Monday evening. Miscreants set several vehicles ablaze, pelted stones, and damaged public property, sparking fear among locals. Many police personnel were also injured in the stone-pelting. The situation is currently under control, and the administration has urged people not to believe in any rumors.
Dr. Ravindra Singhal, Nagpur Police Commissioner, announced that the situation is peaceful for now, and police are identifying and arresting suspects.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has appealed for peace, urging citizens to fully cooperate with the administration. Devendra Fadnavis urged people not to believe in rumors and to fully cooperate with the administration.
