Hathras Stampede Case Updates:

The 'Bholenath Baba' who boasted of his ability to revive the dead fled to save his own life exactly when those who had perished awaited his miraculous intervention. The CCTV image that emerged post the Hathras calamity has starkly exposed the Baba's deceit. Yet, astonishingly, the Uttar Pradesh Police still does not deem the Baba as responsible for the tragic loss of 121 lives. His name appears neither in the FIR nor on the lips of the UP police. Even the bulldozer, so often touted as the UP government’s solution to crime, now lies silent.

The God created by men, what did he do?

His claim was that he would breathe life into the dead. He had tried once to prove his claim. But now, when he really had to demonstrate his abilities, what did the Baba-turned-self-proclaimed deity do? He ran away, abandoning those who came to him looking for hope, now left falling, stumbling, dying on the roads, fields, and pathways.

Baba or the Prime Minister's convoy?

Near National Highway 51 in Hathras, where the congregation was happening, as soon as the stampede ensued, vehicles on National Highway 51 fled as if in a Formula One race. The CCTV images revealed the high speeds of the vehicles on the other side of the road. The first to be captured at great speed were motorcycles, all riders donned in black - Baba's innocent commandos. Black Commandos, their sole duty being to clear and make the path for Baba’s entourage as if it weren't Baba's but the Prime Minister's convoy bursting through.

Baba fled leaving his devotees dying

Following the Black Commandos, a procession of vehicles appears. Within these, one particular white car carried Baba. As soon as he got into the car, Baba was informed by his chief aide over the phone about the casualties of the stampede. But the Baba's car did not stop; he left his followers to die. Imagine, had Baba stopped, returned, and in accordance with his claims, breathed life into the dead, how much further his stature and wealth could have increased.

Baba was in Mainpuri ashram for one hour and 35 minutes

While Baba was fleeing in the car, live updates of the dying devotees were being relayed by his aide, Prakash Madhukar, over phone calls. According to the mobile call records and Baba’s location, he was in his Mainpuri ashram from three o’clock until four-thirty-five PM - a span of one hour and 35 minutes.

Baba’s mobile goes off

During this time, he spoke on three different numbers, all belonging to his key aides and one of their wives. The last conversation concluded at four-thirty-five PM, and with it, Baba's mobile was switched off. Since 4:35 PM on the 2nd of July, Baba’s mobile phone has been turned off.

UP Police doesn’t need Baba

As per the information obtained, Baba was in Mainpuri till the evening of 2nd July. However, as soon as the news broke on every channel by seven o'clock, Baba left Mainpuri. Since then, his whereabouts are unknown. It is quite possible the police is aware, but it seems UP police currently has no need for him.

Baba’s name avoided by police officers

Strangely enough, a reward of 100,000 rupees has been announced for anyone who provides leads on Baba's chief aide, Prakash Madhukar, yet Baba's name wasn’t mentioned. This situation is akin to capturing the killer in a murder case but giving a clean chit to the one who ordered the hit. When the ADG was directly questioned about this, he stated that there might be a need to question Baba and they are also revisiting his past crimes. Back in 2000, Baba was imprisoned for sexual assault; we have that on record, said the ADG miraculously.
