A dreadful incident has come to light from Dholpur in Rajasthan, where an 18-year-old married woman has been allegedly murdered. The victim's father accuses their neighbors of taking his daughter's life. The woman, recently married just two months ago, was visiting her parents when her body was discovered at their home in suspicious circumstances on a Monday. The father had gone to attend a family event in Uttar Pradesh and the mother was out collecting group savings, which is when the neighbors allegedly seized the opportunity to murder her.
Upon Veeri Singh's complaint, the father of the deceased, the police registered a case against the named suspects under sections 302, 450, 323, 341, and 506, and an investigation has been initiated. The aggrieved father told the police that Ravindra, Omveer, Gajendra, and Chhotoo Gurjar had previously threatened them at their home, warning that if Preeti, their daughter, was married elsewhere, they would kill her and him. On June 15, 2024, the accused had also reportedly visited their house to quarrel and engage in violence.
Young Married Woman Found Dead at Home in Doubtful State
It is reported that the woman was married to Jatan Singh from Karauli. Her husband, who works in the marble industry in Gujarat, had taken her to her parental home 15 days prior to the incident, where she was left. Veeri Singh lodged a murder case in the local police station against the Ramjilal side, accusing them of murdering his daughter. As soon as the incident was reported, the police arrived at the scene to examine the circumstances.
Police Register Case Against Named Suspects
On this matter, Head Constable Ashok Sikarwar stated that a married woman had died under suspicious circumstances. A postmortem is being conducted to further the investigations. The father of the deceased has given a statement against the named suspects, with a deep investigation into the case underway to prepare for further proceedings.
