In the Shajapur district of Madhya Pradesh, a wife conspired with her lover and another accomplice to brutally murder her husband by slitting his throat. The police have arrested all three accused in connection with the crime. This chilling incident occurred on Wednesday night in the Mohan Barodia police station area.

According to a news agency report, Shajapur's SP, Yashpal Singh Rajput, stated that the accused, Mamta, along with her lover Rahul Malviya and his associate Sunil Malviya, plotted the murder of her husband, Mukesh Malviya, aged 38.

On Wednesday night, Mamta left the door of her house open to ease the entry of Rahul and Sunil. As Mukesh slept, they slit his throat, leading to his instant death.

During the act, Rahul Malviya's finger was severed and left at the crime scene, providing a crucial clue for the police. Following the discovery, the authorities launched an investigation. Based on the leads from the cyber cell and informants, Mamta, Rahul, and Sunil were arrested on the same night.

Upon interrogation, all three confessed to the conspiracy and execution of the murder. According to the police, Mamta had a long-standing affair with Rahul, which fueled her desire to rid herself of her husband. This motive led her to collaborate with her lover and his associate to plan the murder.

The police have registered a case of murder and are conducting further investigations. The body has been sent for post-mortem, and a charge sheet will soon be filed in court.
