A police charge sheet has been filed against Bangladeshi national Mohammad Shariful Islam, accused of a deadly intrusion into Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan's home. There's a major revelation that the suspect's fingerprint matches samples from the eighth floor of Saif's Satguru Sharan Apartment.

The Fingerprint Bureau's report states, 'Of the three samples taken, the palm print on a wooden door (on the 8th-floor stairway) matches that of the accused. The remaining two fingerprint samples do not match.' Additionally, prints from Saif's home, including doors of the bathroom, marble surfaces, bedroom doors, and the wardrobe do not match either.

A senior officer connected to the investigation said, 'The palm mark found on the eighth floor door was due to a strong grip or push by the accused. Shariful Islam was attempting to open doors of other flats while climbing from the first to the 11th floor with the intent of burglary. Hence, the mark on the eighth floor.'

Regarding unmatched fingerprints elsewhere, the officer noted, 'Sometimes the holding isn't strong, thus ridge detail might not be captured. Even though experts from the Fingerprint Bureau collect samples, overlapping prints from movement of other people can occur by the time they arrive.'

Eighty-three days after the incident, the police charge sheet submitted to the court makes it clear that the person who broke into Saif Ali Khan’s home and attacked was none other than the apprehended Shariful Islam. He was arrested by Mumbai Police three days after the attack near a labor camp in Thane.

According to police sources, the charge sheet presents such compelling evidence against Shariful that it would be nearly impossible for the defense to refute. The charge sheet submitted is over 1600 pages long, featuring testimonies from 35 witnesses and 25 CCTV footage clips.

On the night of January 16th, a person entered Saif Ali Khan's Satguru Apartment home with the intent of robbery. When the residents spotted him, he not only intimidated them but also attacked Saif with a knife. The family managed to lock him in a room, but he ultimately escaped.

The narrative makes this case a compelling read, showing the diligence of the Mumbai Police in their resolve to solve this crime.
