The authority imposed a fine of 5 crore rupees on the construction company Milan Infra. Meanwhile, a penalty of 1 crore rupees has been levied on the project consultancy company Louis Berger. Officials emphasize that overlooking standards and safety lapses in construction activities will not be tolerated.
To provide relief to affected families, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has announced a financial aid of 15 lakh rupees to the families of the deceased.
