Renowned former Mumbai spinner Padmakar Kashinath Shivalkar, lovingly known in the cricketing community as 'Paddy,' has passed away in Mumbai at the age of 84. The President of the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), Ajinkya Naik, confirmed this sorrowful news.

Shivalkar is celebrated as one of India's finest spinners, with a career that spanned nearly two decades, boasting 124 first-class matches and an impressive haul of 589 wickets at an average of 19.69. Though he never played for the Indian national team, his dominance in domestic cricket was unmatched. Former Indian all-rounder and coach Ravi Shastri conveyed his condolences, sharing on Ex, 'Deeply saddened by the news of Paddy Shivalkar's passing.
