Four siblings, aged 8 to 18, fled from their home in Mumbai and have subsequently gone missing after disembarking a train in the city of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. According to the police, the information was collected through various investigative means. Inspector Vijendra Singh Chouhan has revealed that a team from Mumbai's crime branch is seeking the whereabouts of the three girls and one boy, who have been missing since the 27th of May.
Scrutiny of Gwalior Station's CCTV Footage
Inspector Chouhan stated, "The Mumbai police are questioning an autorickshaw driver who claimed to have dropped the children at a childcare center located in Lakshmiganj. After examining the CCTV footage from Gwalior station, the police have managed to trace the driver."
Chairperson of Madhav Bal Niketan, Nutan Srivastava reported, 'The Mumbai police team visited the center on the 27th of May to inquire about the four children who traveled by the Punjab Mail train.'
She added that they only admit children based on the directions of the Child Welfare Committee (District) and that these four children were not left at their center. Police are also examining footage from CCTV cameras installed there.
In a conversation with the media, autorickshaw driver Dilip Dhakt claimed he had dropped the children at the childcare center on the 27th of May.
