Germany's leading luxury car manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz, has launched a brand-new Collector Edition of its famous 'AMG G 63' SUV in the Indian market, specifically for premium Indian customers. This limited-edition SUV, with its enticing look and powerful engine, is priced from INR 4.30 crore (ex-showroom). The unique attribute of this special-edition model is that it has been specially designed by the Indian Research and Development team of Mercedes-Benz keeping the Indian audience in mind.
It's important to note that only 30 units of this special limited edition model will be available for sale in the Indian market. According to the company, each unit can be uniquely customized for the vehicle owner. The design language of this special Edition G-Class is inspired by the Indian monsoon.

For the first time, Mercedes has offered a model in India specially tailored for Indian customers. Priced approximately INR 66 lakh higher than the regular G63 model, official bookings for the Special Edition G 63 commence today, with deliveries set to start in the fourth quarter of 2025.
The Mercedes-Benz G 63 Collector Edition has been developed by the teams at Mercedes-Benz India and Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India. The brand emphasizes hyper-exclusivity and personalization, reflecting glimpses of the Indian monsoon. This SUV will be available in a total of two colors.

Both color options are exceptionally special, including Mid Green Magno (inspired by lush monsoon greenery) and Red Magno (inspired by India’s iron-rich soil). The SUV features a strip line of 'One of Thirty' on the rear spare wheel cover, running the full length of the SUV, giving a unique look to the side protection strip. The model is accentuated by 22-inch AMG-spec alloy wheels finished in gold.
Under the hood of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Special Collector Edition is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine equipped with 48V mild-hybrid technology, delivering 585 BHP power and 850 Nm torque. The mild-hybrid system also provides an additional 22 BHP of power.

The engine is paired with a 9-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) automatic gearbox equipped with paddle shifters, sending power to all four wheels via the 4Matic system. Mercedes-Benz claims this SUV can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds.
Inside the cabin of the SUV, highlights include dual-tone, Manufaktur Catalana Beige, and Black Nappa leather seat upholstery, along with an open-pore natural walnut wood trim for the dashboard. What sets the Collector Edition apart is the option for car owners to have their name engraved on the dashboard grab handle, making it truly special for every vehicle owner.
