She has advised against falling for the deceptions of blind faith and hypocrisy promoted by many religious figures like Baba Bhole, which only exacerbates people's problems. She described the loss of 121 lives in the stampede as a matter of extreme anxiety and has called for rigorous action against all those responsible, including Baba Bhole.
On her social media handle, Mayawati posted, "To alleviate poverty and other sufferings, the poor, disenfranchised, and troubled should not be misled by the likes of Hathras' Baba Bhole, who prey on blind belief and hypocrisy. Rather, they should embrace the ways of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, taking their destiny into their own hands by joining the BSP, as the only way to avert tragedies like the Hathras incident, which is deeply troubling due to the 121 lives lost."

It is imperative to act against such religious figures to prevent any further loss of life. On July 2nd, in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, a stampede broke out during a religious gathering led by Baba Narayan Sakar Hari, resulting in the death of 121 individuals.
