India's Operation Sindoor has delivered a significant blow to neighboring Pakistan's stance. Not only did India's military overwhelm Pakistan, but Pakistani Army Chief and Field Marshal Asim Munir also faced embarrassment worldwide due to a misleading image. Amidst this chaos, imprisoned former Prime Minister Imran Khan is strategizing to rattle the Shehbaz government.
PTI's founder chairman Aliama Khan relayed that Imran Khan has called on party members to gear up for a massive movement, the date of which will soon be announced.
After visiting Imran in Adiala Jail, Aliama stated, “I won’t call for a march to Islamabad; rather, we aim to ignite a monumental movement across Pakistan.” She emphasized Imran's stance that dual-aligned individuals have no space in the party, urging members to choose their allegiance wisely.

She expressed regret over continued defiance of court orders regarding Imran Khan, who is only allowed to speak with his children once in eight months. His sister is also restricted from visiting him. Aliama shared that Imran remains steadfast, asserting that he would not yield even if imprisoned for life.
Aliama highlighted PTI’s ultimate goal targeting the ousting of Shehbaz Sharif’s inactive government and preparing extensively to unseat them.
Chinese Military Drill Image Sparks Controversy
Recently, Pakistani Army Chief Asim Munir hosted a high-profile dinner where he presented Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif with an image claimed to be of Pakistan's attack on India. However, the image was actually from a 2019 Chinese military drill.
This five-year-old image involving China's military was re-used by Munir, wrongly attributing it to an operation against India, leading to widespread ridicule.
Following an April 22nd terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Indo-Pakistan relations soured further. Allegations of cross-border terrorism were directed at Pakistan by the Indian government, which targeted terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir on May 7th. This escalated the tension, with Pakistan retaliating through drone and missile attacks on Indian cities. However, a ceasefire was declared on May 10th, marking a temporary pause in hostilities.
