In the early hours of Monday, a road accident occurred in Maharashtra's Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district when a speeding truck lost control and overturned. This tragic incident resulted in the death of four workers, while 13 others sustained injuries. The injured were swiftly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the deceased workers' bodies have been sent for post-mortem. This information was relayed by a police officer to a news agency.

The police revealed that in the early hours on Monday, in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district of Maharashtra, a speeding truck overturned tragically resulting in the death of four workers and injuring 13 others. The incident occurred in the Pishor Ghat section when a truck carrying sugarcane was traveling from Kannad to Pishor.

17 Workers were Aboard the Truck

The truck was carrying 17 workers. It is reported that the truck driver lost control over the wheels at Pishor Ghat, causing the vehicle to overturn. The workers were thrown onto the road and trapped under the heap of sugarcane. In this unfortunate accident, four workers lost their lives, while 13 were rescued alive.
