After the election results in Maharashtra, political tensions soared over who the next Chief Minister of the state would be. Meanwhile, a meeting of leaders from the Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar) took place. Following the meeting, NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal mentioned, "Today, all our legislators came for the meeting, several council members came as well, and everyone decided that Ajit Pawar will lead us in the assembly. However, the Chief Minister will be decided by all three parties jointly."

He further stated that the three parties will sit together to decide on their leader. Ajit Pawar could also become the Chief Minister, given his impressive track record.

Meanwhile, Aditi Tatkare expressed, "I am pleased, as the Ladki Behan scheme also rendered assistance. I thank Ajit Pawar, Fadnavis, and Eknath Shinde. The scheme has been notably effective. Now we know who the Ladki Behan is. We worked hard without a hint of commentary. Voters also placed their faith in us and we received their votes." She added that all candidates attended the meeting today, regardless of their results. The grand alliance's strike rate is formidable. The scheme amounts will increase from 1500 to 2100 rupees. We promised, and we will deliver; the scheme will be ongoing.

Aditi Tatkare also stated that we continue to push for development and industries and want the schemes to reach the grassroots level.

Feeling Bad for My Father: Zeeshan Siddiqui

Having lost the Bandra seat in the assembly elections, NCP leader Zeeshan Siddiqui expressed, "I cannot pinpoint what went wrong in the election but something indeed went wrong, and we will study what that was. We will work harder and be more prepared for the next election."

He continued by stating that he could not devote much time to the campaign. He regrets not winning for his father's sake. Wherever my father is, he knows I worked hard in this election. By the time I could compose myself after his passing, the election was upon us.

While discussing the NCP (AP) meeting, he remarked meeting everyone at the gathering. The faith Ajit Dada and Praful Patel have shown in me is something I am grateful for.

'Eknath Shinde was the Electoral Face of the Grand Alliance...'

Former Union Minister of State and BJP leader Raosaheb Danve stated, "We won this election by collaborating with smaller allied parties. Every party will select its group leader for the assembly, and all three parties will collectively hold a meeting with all legislators."

He further mentioned that we fought the election with Eknath Shinde as the face of the grand alliance but not as the Chief Minister's face. The state leadership will discuss with our top leaders in Delhi, and a final decision on who the Chief Minister will be will be made.

Our central leaders in the BJP will determine the face of our state leadership. Devendra Fadnavis has led the state assembly elections, but we will await the final announcement from our top leadership.
