The grand Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, is in full swing. Huge crowds of believers are flocking to take the divine dip. For 17 consecutive days, throngs of people have been visiting the Sangam. The largest attendance in a single day was recorded on Makar Sankranti. Over 150 million devotees have taken the holy dip so far. However, this figure is expected to be surpassed tomorrow. Over 100 million are anticipated to visit on Mauni Amavasya (January 29). Complete Schedule for January 29
- The auspicious Brahma Muhurta for bathing will begin at 5 AM.- First, the Naga ascetics of Mahanirvani Akhara will take the dip.- Simultaneously, Shri Shambhu Panchayati Akhara will also perform the ritual.- At 5:50 AM, Niranjani Akhara and Anand Akhara will follow.- Juna Akhara's bathing time is set for 6:45 AM.- Awahan Akhara will bathe alongside Panch Agni Akhara.- Saints of Bairagi Akhara will bathe at 9:25 AM.- The sages of Digambar Ani Akhara will take the dip at 10:05 AM.- At 11:05 AM, the saints of Nirvani Akhara will bathe.- Finally, the three Udaseen traditions will perform their ritual bath.- At noon, the saints from Panchayati Akhara will take the Amrit bath.- The time for the Panchayati Akhara, Bara Udaseen, is scheduled for 1:05 PM.- Panchayati Nirmal Akhara will bathe at 2:25 PM.
