The grand Maha Kumbh festival in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh is being scheduled. An official announcement stated that the Tourism Department will host a drone show from January 24th to 26th in Sector-7 of the Kumbh city. A rehearsal for the drone show was conducted Thursday evening.

During the show, drones will soar through the sky in perfect harmony, forming captivating shapes and visuals. The statement highlights that the display will be centered around Indian culture, spirituality, and the immense significance of the Maha Kumbh. A stunning coordination of lights and music will enchant millions of devotees and tourists.

To ensure a smooth execution of the event, stringent security measures have been implemented. During the rehearsal, local administration, police, and tourism department officials reviewed the security and technical arrangements at the venue to ensure seamless coordination.

It's noteworthy that the Uttar Pradesh government announced that the number of pilgrims taking a holy dip at the Maha Kumbh has surpassed 100 million. The UP government stated the count of pilgrims is continually increasing, with millions of people arriving daily to bathe and gain spiritual merit. During bathing festivals, this number reaches into the millions. As of 12 PM on Thursday, the number of devotees taking the holy dip at the Maha Kumbh crossed 100 million, marking a significant milestone.

Additionally, the statement noted that the Yogi Adityanath government had previously estimated over 450 million people would visit the Maha Kumbh this year. Enthusiasm and excitement amongst the devotees in Prayagraj remain high. People from across the country and the world are flocking to the Triveni Sangam for holy baths. By January 23rd, the total count of pilgrims bathing had surpassed 100 million, with the largest number (approximately 35 million) bathing during the Makar Sankranti festival, followed by over 17 million during the Purnima festival.
