In the BKT police station area of Lucknow, a young man committed suicide, heartbroken by his girlfriend's engagement to someone else. Overcome with grief, he chose to end his life. Before doing so, he posted a status on Whatsapp saying, 'The end is the beginning, I'm leaving... take care.'

The deceased, Pawan Pandey, was 28 years old and resided in Defense Colony, BKT. He worked as an accountant at a dairy company. His family revealed that he met a girl through a gaming app, and over time, they developed a friendship.

According to Pawan's brother Manoj, Pawan met a girl from Nagpur while playing an online game four years ago, and they started communicating. But when the girl got married on December 14th, Pawan became troubled.

On Sunday night, Pawan didn't eat dinner. When the family checked on him in his room, the door was locked from the inside. After calling out several times and receiving no response, they broke the door and found Pawan hanging from the fan hook with a scarf.

The police reported that a suicide note was found by Pawan's side, where he took responsibility for his death. In the note, Pawan wrote that he had 600,000 rupees in his account, and wished for it to be turned into fixed deposits in his two nieces' names. His family's grief over his death knows no bounds.
