The city of Lucknow is rocked by the chilling murder of five family members. Accusations are swirling that a 24-year-old son has fatally harmed his mother and four sisters. The father is under suspicion as well, and he has since vanished. Meanwhile, the son is in custody for questioning. According to sources, the murders were carried out after sedating the victims and cutting their wrists. The bruises on their throats and wrists tell a devastating tale.
This shocking event unfolded at the Sharanjeet Hotel in the Naka area of Lucknow. Arshad, who hailed from the Kuberpur area of Agra, was staying there with his mother Asma and four sisters, Alia (9), Alshiya (19), Aksa (16), and Rahmeen (18). Last night, Arshad allegedly murdered them in their hotel room. Early Wednesday morning, upon receiving information, police rushed to the scene where they found Arshad and detained him. The discovery of five lifeless bodies sent chills down the spines of onlookers.
Police sources suggest the involvement of Arshad's father in this horrendous act. Arshad is currently in police custody being interrogated, while his father, Badar, remains at large. Teams have been deployed to find him. The family, originating from Agra, had been lodged at Sharanjeet's room number 109 since December 30. Among them, the mother and her four daughters are the ones who were killed.
It is reported that late into the night, Badar and Arshad went out to buy food and drinks for the New Year celebration. While there’s talk of drinking, confirmation is pending. The crime was executed post the party. Of the four sisters killed, two were minors, while the other two were just 18 and 19 years old.
DCP Raveena Tyagi stated that upon receiving a tip-off about the incident, the police rushed to the hotel and apprehended the suspect. They are probing why such a drastic step was taken, while a field unit is gathering evidence, supported by a forensic team. A detailed investigation and further legal procedures are underway, with a post-mortem report awaited.
Additionally, Lucknow’s Joint CP, Babloo Kumar, confirmed that five bodies were found, four girls and a woman. Hotel staff noted the family checked in on December 30, accompanied by their brother and father. The matter remains under intense investigation.
